The Park City | Summit County Green Business Program empowers businesses to play an active role in building a more sustainable community. This program is led in collaboration between Summit County, the Park City Chamber & Visitors Bureau, Park City Community Foundation, and Park City Municipal Corporation.

Become a green business
History
The Green Business Program was founded by Recycle Utah in 2016 as a way to engage businesses in taking environmental action. In 2022, the current partners, led by Park City Municipal Corporation and Recycle Utah, recognized an opportunity to better align and strengthen sustainability and climate action efforts across the business community in order to accelerate progress toward shared sustainability goals. Since then, the partner organizations have worked to expand and enhance the program by providing participating businesses with additional expertise, resources, and support, while also growing the program’s reach and impact through a website platform that helps track, measure, and showcase the sustainability efforts of certified Green Businesses.
