July Green Drinks will cover renewable energy initiatives in our communities and across the state. Join them for a bring-your-own food & drink picnic at Deer Meadows Ranch in Oakley! This event is free, but registration is required. This event is 21+. Please consider carpooling!
Emily Quinton from Summit County will discuss the Community Clean Energy Program, a partnership of the Utah Renewable Communities and Rocky Mountain Power, to build a stable, reliable energy future for Utah. The program, which will launch in early 2027, provides households and businesses within participating communities the choice to support new utility-scale clean energy through their Rocky Mountain Power bill.
Jennifer Eden from Utah Clean Energy will speak about the status of solar energy opportunities in Utah from Utah Renewable Communities, to rooftop solar, to Utah leading the nation with first-of-its-kind legislation legalizing plug-in solar.
